Fun Diving for Advanced Divers

Kerama Islands (including drift diving)

Divefit (29)

Located about 40 km west of Okinawa’s main island, the Kerama Islands are reachable in roughly 1 hour by boat from Naha — truly one of the world’s top diving destinations!
Expect dramatic underwater topography, pure white sand, vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, and sea turtles that enchant every diver.
Turtles can be seen year-round. In summer you may encounter manta rays, and in winter macro creatures and even humpback whales from the boat!
For intermediate & advanced divers, we also offer thrilling drift dives.

Important Notes & Prerequisites for Intermediate/Advanced Tours

Triangle (Advanced / Strong Current Area)

Divefit (17)

Known among divers as Okinawa’s most hardcore site, Triangle lies in open ocean southwest of the main island. It’s a high-stakes, gamble-style point for intermediate to advanced divers.
With no island shelter, the boat rocks a lot — motion sickness tablets are essential.
All dives here are full drift. You’ll swim in mid-water (blue water) around fish-aggregating devices at depths averaging 30–40 m+. Physical fitness is required because you may need to sprint against currents when big pelagics appear. Dive times are shorter (≈20 min) due to depth.
Triangle boasts Okinawa’s densest fish life: year-round Chevron barracuda and shark schools, and from March–May, massive spawning schools of thousands of humphead parrotfish create an unforgettable spectacle.

Aguni Island Expedition

Divefit (18)

Aguni Island, 1.5 hours by boat from Naha, is legendary among divers — when people say “Okinawa diving,” they mean Aguni’s tornadoes of Big-eye trevally (gingame-aji)!
Best season: mid-April to late July.
You’ll also see huge schools of dogtooth tuna, great barracuda, napoleon wrasse, bumphead parrotfish and, with luck, hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, whale sharks, or even tiger sharks. A true big-animal paradise!

【Price】3 dives 27,000 yen

Important Notes & Prerequisites for Intermediate/Advanced Tours

Tonaki Island Expedition

Divefit (30)

Tonaki Island (≈75 min from Naha) is famous for its unreal “Tonaki Blue” visibility. Since there are no local dive shops, we run day-trip boats from Naha.
You can enjoy both relaxing scenic dives and exciting gamble dives.
The signature site “Guruku-no-Sachi (Goroku-no-Saki)” features one of the world’s most beautiful drop-offs — walls covered in pyramid butterflyfish and fairy basslets, perfect for photographers. “Shimajiri-saki Blue Hole” offers dramatic topography.
“Nakalma” is a rare flowing-sand gamble point: tiger sharks Aug–Nov, yellowfin tuna schools Nov–May, plus eagle rays, rare sharks, barracuda — you never know what will appear!

【Price】3 dives 30,000 yen

USS Emmons (Wreck)

Divefit (24)

Lying at ≈40 m off Kouri Island (northern Okinawa), the 106 m-long WWII U.S. Navy minesweeper-destroyer USS Emmons is Okinawa’s largest and most impressive wreck.
The hull remains almost perfectly intact — an extremely valuable and advanced/technical wreck dive.
Only very experienced deep divers may join. Weather-dependent (possible only in calm south-wind conditions).

【Price】2 dives 28,000 yen
